Teens & Young Adults

MANY PEOPLE, including teens, suffer from the disease of compulsive (out-of-control) eating. From overeating to bulimia or anorexia, whether you call it a food disorder or a disease, the good news is that there is a solution.
OVEREATERS ANONYMOUS (OA) is a fellowship of individuals of all ages who support each other in overcoming compulsive eating by working OA’s Twelve Steps of recovery.
MOST OF US, no matter how hard we tried, could not control our eating. In OA we found people who understood us and gave us the help we needed.
WE DON’T weigh you, charge dues or fees, track attendance, or tell you what to/not to eat.
WE DO help each other make responsible choices about food and living a sane life.
If OA seems right for you, there’s an OA website just for young people. It’s called: Young People’s Virtual Intergroup. There you can take the “Are you one of us?” quiz or find a meeting and much more. So click on the link above or the graphic below and you’ll be on your way to a life beyond your wildest dreams.
