Announcing OA’s New Public Service Announcement

It’s here!  

After several months of dedicated work by many of OA’s trustees and staff and OA’s advertising firm, the new Overeaters Anonymous public service announcement (PSA) video has been released! Their timing is good—we are on the cusp of the holiday season as well as the new year. These are times that can be hard, yet they are also times when many decide to try something new.

OA needed an updated PSA as the 2009 video is in a format that is no longer accepted by broadcast media and does not reflect our current unity with diversity standards. The Professional Tradeshows/Public Awareness Committee worked hard to represent the diversity of our Fellowship—in gender, culture, geography, and manifestations of our disease.
