Nominations for Chair and Recording Secretary are being accepted in October

Nominations for the service positions of Chair and Recording Secretary for Ocean & Bay Intergroup are being accepted in October 2024. For many who have found stable abstinence, service in Overeaters Anonymous has been a major factor in their recovery. 

The Chair and Recording Secretary positions each serve a two-year term starting in January 2025. You can nominate yourself or recommend OA members you think would do a great job.

Chair: The main responsibility is to run the Intergroup meeting and help coordinate committee work. Six (6) months of abstinence required.

Recording Secretary: Takes notes at the Intergroup meetings and transcribes them for distribution for the next meeting. 24 hours abstinence required. 

Email chair@oceanandbay.org to submit recommendations in October or if you have any questions. The positions will be voted on at the Ocean & Bay Intergroup meeting on zoom Tuesday, November 7, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. est. Everyone is welcome.
